Obioha Okoroafor

Engr. Obioha Okoroafor is the Founder and Group Managing Director of the HOBARK Group, adjudged one of the fastest-growing indigenous integrated oilfield service groups in sub-Saharan Africa. His wealth of experience in the energy industry includes technical and managerial roles with Schlumberger Anadrill across various countries.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Power Electrical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 1988 and currently attending OPM in Harvard Business School

Engr. Obioha is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), a member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), a member of the Petroleum and Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), and a member of the National Employers Consultative Forum (NECA).

Akinola Ogundare is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of industry experience. He has sound technical drilling engineering experience with renowned IOCs, including BP & Shell.

Akin’s versatility and global exposure working in Africa, Europe, and the Americas have allowed him to develop strong leadership, organisational, and commercial skills required to successfully champion the affairs of an organisation. He is a fully fledged professional with extensive experience in leading and implementing change within a global organisation.

His latest achievements include successfully leading organisational change working as Regional Bly Report Implementation Manager post-BP Macondo incident.

Akinola holds a BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Emmanuel Okoroafor has worked in academia and industry in Nigeria and overseas since 1989. He has been in the Oil & Gas industry since 2010, developing, administering, and managing business and personnel across the various segments of the industry.

He is currently the Managing Director of Hobark Consultants Management Services—Nigeria’s foremost personnel management company.

Emmanuel holds a BSc. degree in Physics from the University of Ife, Nigeria, and a PhD. in Material Science from Universite Denis Diderot, Paris VII, Paris, France.

He is a Chartered Physicist (CPhys), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of the Institute of Materials (FIMMM), and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC).

Hope Okwa has over 27 years of industry experience. He has strong technical Drilling Engineering experience with IOCs, NOCs and indigenous Companies including BP, Shell, BG, Saudi Aramco, Chevron, Addax, First E&P.

He has acquired demonstrable expertise and competence in well project planning and project delivery with a keen eye for value-adding technology deployment.

His involvement and participation in high-profile projects has allowed him to garner capacity for leadership, mentorship, and development of local expertise, as well as work in difficult fiscal regimes to maximise profitability.

Hope hold a BSc. Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and an MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh

He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and APEGA.

Frank ndulue

Frank Ndulue holds a BEng degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering and has been involved in the diverse aspects of Well Engineering operations.

With over 22 years of industry experience, Frank has garnered strong technical competencies and management experience in directional drilling/MWD/LWD, working with IOCs, NOCs, and indigenous companies (Shell, Exxon, Total, Addax, Chevron, Seplat) and across the West African region.

He has extensive experience in drilling risk management and optimisation, strong leadership, and technical and commercial skills working with Schlumberger across the coast of West Africa. He was Business Line Manager with Schlumberger across the West Africa Business Unit.

Frank’s rich experience in both the local and international energy industries has seen him build specialist expertise in drilling optimisation, services management, and technology implementation.

Seyi Adeleye is a seasoned Oil & Gas professional with over 35 years of experience working with industry leaders such as Aradel, Beaucrest, Oando, and Shell. His expertise spans Nigeria, Brunei, and Shell’s International Center of Excellence in Houston, where he supported Global Exploration Big Cats, Deepwater Well Delivery, and the deployment of cutting-edge technology and innovation.

He has held key leadership positions, including Value Assurance Advisor, Competency Development Coach, Chief Technical Officer, General Manager (Operations), Head of Maturation, Development & Operations, Head of Acquisitions & Maturation, Global PTE – Principal Technical Expert (Wells Assurance), and Global Team Lead (Performance & Business Improvement). His areas of expertise include operational leadership, technical limit well delivery (TLwD), opportunity realization (ORP) through integrated teams, strategic planning, team development, organizational efficiency, and change management. Beyond the private sector, he also served as a Special Adviser on Infrastructure in the public sector.

Seyi holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and a Pg.D in Business. He is a Registered Engineer (COREN) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE). Additionally, he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Recognized for his ability to drive business transformation, develop local talent, and deliver strategic growth, Seyi thrives in complex and high-stakes environments.

Alan Udi is a supply chain and procurement expert with over 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, spanning global upstream capital contracting in Nigeria, the Netherlands, the UK, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and Gabon.

He has managed Greenfield and Brownfield projects in both operated and non-operated ventures, alongside 5 years in commercial banking operations in Nigeria.

Alan has held key leadership roles, including Contracting & Procurement Manager, Business Opportunity Manager, and Business Relations & Governance Manager, excelling in stakeholder management and project delivery.

He holds an MBA, MSc, BSc, and an honorary DSc, alongside certifications as an MCIPS, SAP Certified Consultant (Material Management), and Project Management Professional. His strategic approach has made him a trusted leader in driving efficiency, optimising supply chains, and strengthening strategic partnerships.

Wale Ishola is an accomplished finance professional with over 23 years of experience, including nearly two decades in the Oil & Gas industry. His career includes pivotal roles at OandoWellsworth Energy, and other NOCs, where he has demonstrated excellence in treasury management, risk mitigation, and system implementation.

Wale holds a B.Sc. and an MBA, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

His financial acumen has consistently driven organisational growth and optimised capital structures. He has delivered value through expertise in commercial management, financial reporting, project finance, and budgeting & forecasting.
